Mechanical Engineer ( 2–3 years experience )

Role Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join an established engineering and project execution team. The role involves supporting the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical and electromechanical systems across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

The ideal candidate will have solid technical fundamentals, site exposure, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, review, and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, pump systems, and water treatment solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, material take-offs, and specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, civil teams, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Support site supervision, installation follow-up, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review supplier submittals and technical proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues during execution and handover phases.
• Ensure adherence to local codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and assist in documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably within MEP, electromechanical, or construction projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, fluid mechanics, pumps, and related mechanical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of site coordination and construction methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
