Job Overview

On behalf of a prestigious and forward-thinking organisation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing a wide range of mechanical components, systems, and machinery. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities

 

  • Design and develop mechanical solutions, from initial concept to detailed engineering, using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programmes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to test and validate the performance, durability, and safety of designs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed drawings, schematics, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
  • Oversee the fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all designs and processes comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports, technical presentations, and project progress updates for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise product design, manufacturing processes, and overall organisational efficiency.

Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required. A Master's degree would be advantageous.
  • Proven professional experience working in a mechanical engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • A solid understanding of core engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and structural analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices would be beneficial.
