MECHANICAL ENGINEER (ARAB NATIONAL)

Position: Arab National Mechanical Engineer (Construction)
Industry: Construction / Building Construction
Experience Required: 10–15 years of relevant experience in construction projects
Location: Sharjah

We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, site experience, and the ability to manage mechanical works for building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all mechanical engineering works at construction sites
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
• Ensure proper installation of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical works
• Prepare technical reports, material submittals, and progress updates
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Attend project meetings and resolve technical issues on site
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural departments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–15 years of experience in building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and MEP systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Knowledge in project coordination and site supervision
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• UAE experience is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise or commercial/residential building projects
• Familiarity with local construction standards and regulations
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage

Salary & Benefits

Pay: Up to AED16,000.00 per month
