Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supervising, executing, and coordinating mechanical works on
Saudi ARAMCO projects
, ensuring full compliance with
ARAMCO standards, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE regulations
. The role requires strong site experience, technical expertise, and prior hands-on involvement in ARAMCO-approved projects.
Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise mechanical construction and installation activities including piping, pressure vessels, static & rotating equipment, tanks, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems (as applicable).

Ensure compliance with Saudi ARAMCO Engineering Standards (SAES), SAMSS, and project specifications.

Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, drawings, datasheets, BOQs, and specifications.
-
Coordinate with QA/QC, planning, safety, and construction teams to meet project milestones.

Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor activities.

Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and mechanical completion activities.
-
Prepare method statements, work procedures, and daily/weekly progress reports.

Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and ARAMCO permit-to-work systems.
Qualifications
-
Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-
ARAMCO approval or proven ARAMCO project experience – Mandatory.
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / ARAMCO projects.
-
Strong experience in site execution and mechanical construction works.
-
Experience with EPC contractors is an advantage.
Technical Skills
-
In-depth knowledge of ARAMCO standards (SAES, SAMSS).
-
Experience in piping systems, equipment installation, and mechanical works.
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
-
Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Soft Skills
-
Strong coordination and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Good reporting and documentation skills.
