Job Description:

Capital Engineering Consultancy is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer (Design / Site) with a strong background in engineering consultancy and proven experience in high-rise building projects. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, coordination, and site supervision to ensure project quality and compliance with applicable standards and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications for building projects.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local authority standards (DCD, FEWA, SEWA, etc.) and international codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for technical accuracy and approval.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of mechanical works.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design or site-related issues.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of project deliverables with a high level of technical excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven experience in high-rise or large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software (HAP, DuctSizer, PipeSizer, etc.).
• Excellent communication, technical, and coordination skills.
