YOUR TASKS
Forvia Hella is seeking our next great mechanical engineer to join our body controls team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of assigned programs. This individual will be joining a well established team that is heavily involved in next generation body products.

Daily Responsibilities

Planning, coordinating and controlling design tasks by applying prescribed methods and systems (incl. Time to Market process)

Clarifying design requirements with the customer in the form of specified project descriptions, analyzing design expenditure in agreement with the responsible superior

Ensuring that defined technical standards are being observed within the context of design; involving Preliminary
-
Development and Production Technology in the agreement of product concepts and technological alternatives

Drawing up design solutions taking functional, material-related, technical production and economical aspects into account; drawing up selected designs for detailing
-
Preparing the (design) FMEA for the complete device, taking customer requirements into account
Arranging for tests (mechanical, photometric, thermal) on sample devices, integration of results in the design
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS-
3+ years experience in mechanical design for the automotive industry

Experience in thermal design and / or liquid cooled applications

Experience in connector technologies
-
Experience working with Catia
-
Ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in a diverse international environment
