Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Management) – Health Center Project

Our client, a reputable facilities management service provider, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong Facilities Management (FM) expertise for a health center project across three locations: Al Ruwais, Al Khor, and Doha.

The selected candidate will be required to cover all three sites; therefore, a valid driving license and own vehicle is mandatory. This is a short-term contract with the possibility of extension. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be highly preferred.

Location: Al Ruwais, Al Khor, and Doha, Qatar
Employment Type: Contract – 1 Month (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Gross Salary: QAR 7,750 (inclusive of QAR 7,000 covering Basic Salary and Food Allowance, plus QAR 750 as Transportation Allowance)
Working Hours: 8 hours/day + 1-hour break
Working Days: 6 days/week

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities within health center facilities
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure mechanical systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety and hygiene standards
• Oversee HVAC systems, plumbing, pumps, fire-fighting systems, and other mechanical services
• Coordinate with facility teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure uninterrupted healthcare operations
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues affecting building services
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection checklists, and prepare daily and weekly maintenance reports
• Ensure all works comply with QHSE standards and healthcare facility regulations
• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians
• Ensure timely response to critical and emergency maintenance requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building systems and preventive/corrective maintenance
• Proficiency in technical reporting and MS Office applications
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid Qatari Driving License (own vehicle preferred)
• Immediate availability is a strong advantage
