Mechanical Engineer (FLS – NFPA Training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, civil defense, and local codes.
• Prepare fire safety layouts, calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend safety improvements.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of fire safety systems.
• Liaise with authorities for system approvals and certifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project/site teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fire Life Safety (FLS) projects.
• NFPA certification/training is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety systems and codes.
• Familiarity with CAD/Revit for fire protection layouts.
• Excellent knowledge of hydraulic calculations for fire systems.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
