Mechanical Engineer – Galvanizing Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical operations of the galvanizing plant
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as kettles, cranes, hoists, pumps, blowers, and conveyors
• Ensure proper functioning of pickling tanks, flux systems, and galvanizing lines
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
• Monitor production efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations
• Inspect and improve mechanical systems for better performance and cost reduction
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in galvanizing plant / steel / fabrication industry
• Strong knowledge of hot-dip galvanizing processes and equipment

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
