Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Design (Entry Level)
Location: Westerville, OH (On-site only)

We are seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in HVAC system design to join our growing team in Westerville, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential building projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems and air distribution systems
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing
• Prepare construction documents, drawings, and technical specifications
• Prepare Model Energy Code Compliance reports
• Coordinate designs with architects, electrical engineers, and other project stakeholders
• Perform review of shop drawings and RFIs and provide appropriate responses.
• Support project execution from concept through construction
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
• Assist with field inspections, construction administration, and troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Exposure to/proficiency with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD 2025, Revit, Solidworks)
• Interest in the construction industry and HVAC design
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• EIT certification or progress towards PE licensure is a plus
