Equipment & Automation Engineer
to support the development and optimization of next-generation production systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in deploying and refining custom-built equipment designed for high-precision metal part production. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and validate new production tools and systems for casting and precision part manufacturing

Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime on the production line

Run experiments to fine-tune equipment parameters for higher throughput, yield, and process reliability

Collaborate with materials scientists to integrate novel materials into manufacturing workflows

Drive continuous improvement by evaluating system performance and implementing design updates
Who Should Apply

Engineers with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or process development

Candidates with degrees in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical engineering—or equivalent technical proficiency

Individuals familiar with industrial components (e.g., sensors, motion control, microcontrollers, connectors)

Professionals who can manage vendor relationships and translate concepts into manufacturable designs

Those who enjoy solving hard problems with minimal supervision and thrive in environments that reward initiative
Nice-to-Have Experience

Exposure to casting processes, ceramics, heat treatment, or slurry-based manufacturing

Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100)

Experience with SLA 3D printing or additive manufacturing
