Mechanical Engineer Intern

The Opportunity

This internship is designed for current Mechanical Engineering students or recent graduates seeking hands-on experience on real-world engineering projects. You’ll rotate between General Labs’ core engineering work and HE Rental’s tech-driven equipment platform—gaining exposure to design, analysis, operations, and digital innovation.

What You’ll Do

General Labs Projects:

Assist senior engineers with CAD modeling, drafting, and technical documentation.

Support the preparation of piping isometrics, P&IDs, and BOMs.

Participate in site visits and data collection.

Contribute to sustainability assessments and design optimization studies.

HE Rental Exposure:

Support site visits, equipment inspections, and commissioning activities.

Evaluate mechanical specifications of heavy equipment for rental catalog integration.

Support development of equipment maintenance protocols and safety checklists.

Assist in technical troubleshooting for rental fleet optimization.
