Responsibilities

Acts as head of a Mechanical function for a business unit. Plans, controls and manages all maintenance activities, ensuring that quality and service standards are met and that targets are achieved, or exceeded, all within approved budget levels.
Monitors daily progress of Mechanical maintenance activities.
Finds better ways to modify or adjust the system to increase the life of running machines.
Collects critical repeating problems from subordinates and discusses implementation of better solutions.
Follows up critical spares directly to purchase department and suppliers.
Prepares annual budget for mechanical maintenance department and follows the same.
Keeps correspondence with suppliers to develop cost effective spares and reduce the maintenance cost.
Prepares monthly report on maintenance activity, spares situation, downtime details, maintenance cost, etc.
Supervises and coordinates with machine shop supervisor to develop spares in our own workshop, reducing maintenance spares cost.
Follows preventive maintenance monitoring.
Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Overall maintenance control of tissue machine. Follow up any preventive maintenance activity, breakdown maintenance activity, and planned maintenance activity.
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical.
Preferably 8 years in similar function.
Advanced English language skills.
Strong management and team leadership skills.
Well-developed computer skills.
