Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance)

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance

Location: Vasai (E)

Experience Required: 3–5 years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation as per company standards.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and achieve maintenance KPIs.
• Supervise maintenance team and ensure adherence to safety standards during maintenance work.
• Coordinate with the production department to schedule maintenance activities.
• Support in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.
• Maintain and monitor spare parts inventory and raise indents as required.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized repair or service work.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.

Qualification:

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

· 3–7 years of experience in plant / manufacturing maintenance (preferably in motors, fans, or related industries).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
