Mechanical Engineer (MEP)

1. HVAC System Design

• Perform heat‑load calculations and equipment sizing
• Design chilled water, DX, VRF, ventilation, and smoke‑management systems
• Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, and BOQs
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and UAE authority standards

2. Plumbing & Drainage

• Design water supply, drainage, stormwater, and water‑heating systems
• Select pumps, tanks, valves, and piping materials
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and sustainability requirements

3. Fire Protection Systems

• Design sprinkler, standpipe, and fire‑suppression systems
• Coordinate with fire alarm and civil defense requirements
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards

4. Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, architectural, and structural teams
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documents

5. Site Supervision & Testing

• Monitor installation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot site issues and ensure QA/QC compliance

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP/TRACE, and duct/piping sizing tools
• Understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and UAE authority regulations
• Strong coordination and problem‑solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–7 years of experience in MEP design or site execution
• UAE experience preferred (authority approvals, local codes)
• Certifications like LEED, PMP, or FE/PE are a plus
• UAE Driving license and immediate joining are complusory
