Mechanical Engineer – Power Plant

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in the power plant.
• Ensure the efficiency and reliability of turbines, boilers, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical components.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Work closely with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Monitor fuel systems, cooling systems, and lubrication systems to enhance efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to plant operators and junior staff.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a power plant or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of turbines, boilers, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering standards.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of power plant machinery.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
