Mechanical Engineer (Project & Estimation)

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in both Project Engineering and Estimation within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will handle project execution, site coordination, cost estimation, material take-offs, and ensure timely delivery of mechanical works.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Engineering

• Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical works for construction projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients regarding project progress and technical matters.
• Prepare project schedules, method statements, and work procedures.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).
• Prepare progress reports, material requests, and project documentation.

Estimation Engineering

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs for mechanical systems.
• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing for bids.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Support management in bid proposals, clarifications, and technical queries.
• Analyze project risks, budget requirements, and value engineering options.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Strong experience in both Project Engineering and Estimation roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software/tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Must be available in Bahrain with a valid Bahrain driving license.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD500.000 - BD800.000 per month
