Alomar Holding Company, a leading diversified investment group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on plumbing systems for residential projects in Riyadh. As part of our real estate development team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and successful execution of plumbing works across multiple residential sites. Key responsibilities include:

Supervising plumbing works throughout construction and finishing stages to ensure quality and compliance

Reviewing mechanical and plumbing designs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards

Coordinating daily with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress

Ensuring all plumbing works meet Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local regulatory requirements, including necessary approvals and connections

Conducting site inspections, monitoring work progress, and preparing technical reports for project management

Identifying and providing technical solutions to challenges encountered during execution

Maintaining rigorous documentation and communication to support project governance and long-term value creation
Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

3–5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer on residential projects with proven expertise in plumbing systems execution

Hands-on experience executing residential plumbing systems including domestic water supply, drainage and sewage, stormwater, pumps/booster systems, and water heaters
-
Experience managing plumbing works end-to-end from construction to finishing, including installation, testing, and on-site coordination

Proficiency with AutoCAD for mechanical and plumbing drawings, including preparation and review of shop and as-built drawings

Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) requirements and Riyadh local regulations for plumbing execution, including coordination with NWC and SEC for approvals and connections

Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) or eligible to register

Professional working proficiency in both Arabic and English

Transferable iqama (Saudi work authorization)

Ability to perform frequent site visits and travel between project sites within Riyadh

Available to join within 30 days or less

Experience coordinating daily with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on residential apartment building projects

Familiarity with IPC (International Plumbing Code) or equivalent international plumbing standards

Valid Saudi driving license for frequent site visits within Riyadh

HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH)

Ability to prepare clear technical reports and communicate progress and risks to project management
