Mechanical Engineer (Technical Office)

  • Review and study project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (bill of quantity), RFI (Request for Information), and correspondence to ensure all project details are considered.
  • Coordinate with other trades (architectural, MEP, structural, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform technical calculations related to HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Conduct calculations, including load and energy analysis, and achieve necessary approvals.
  • Perform site visits to assess the progress and quality of mechanical works.
  • Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Prepare as-built drawings for project records.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, preferably in technical office roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
