Bremskerl CV, LLC is a U.S.-owned supplier of commercial vehicle braking solutions, including air disc brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake shoes, hardware kits, and related components. We support fleets, distributors, and maintenance operations across North America with a focus on safety, reliability, uptime, and practical technical support.
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer / Technical Quality Engineer to support product development, reverse engineering, CAD work, technical documentation, quality control, and process improvement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical products, measurement, problem solving, and building systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer commercial vehicle brake components and related mechanical parts
- Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications
- Support new product development, product validation, and fitment verification
- Measure and inspect components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM/3D scanning, or other inspection tools
- Assist with product testing, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations
- Create technical reports, inspection records, work instructions, and product documentation
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners on drawings, specifications, quality issues, and corrective actions
- Support incoming inspection and quality control processes
- Help develop and improve internal quality systems, procedures, and traceability
- Lead or support implementation of an ISO 9001 quality management system
- Assist with technical customer support when needed, including field issue review and product analysis
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
- Experience with CAD software
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and measurement methods
- Comfortable working hands-on with physical parts, tools, and inspection equipment
- Experience with reverse engineering, product validation, or mechanical component design
- Quality control or ISO 9001 experience strongly preferred
- Experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, braking systems, machining, casting, or manufacturing is a plus
- Able to work independently in a small-business environment
- Practical, detail-oriented, and willing to handle both engineering and quality-related tasks

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
