Mechanical Engineer with ADCD approval

1. Design and Development

• Design mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Develop prototypes and conduct design validation through simulations and testing.
• Improve existing designs to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.

2. Analysis and Calculations

• Perform engineering calculations for stress, strain, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and other mechanical properties.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new projects.
• Use tools like FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to analyze designs.

3. Manufacturing and Production Support

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective to produce.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for better efficiency and quality.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance

• Plan and conduct performance, durability, and safety tests on mechanical systems.
• Analyze test data and prepare reports with improvement recommendations.
• Ensure designs and products meet quality and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API).

5. Project Management

• Prepare project timelines, budgets, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, civil, software, etc.) to deliver projects on schedule.
• Manage suppliers and contractors during project execution.

6. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance plans.
• Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, and operation of equipment.

7. Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
• Document design changes, test results, and project progress.
• Present technical reports and findings to management or clients.

8. Research and Innovation

• Investigate new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods.
• Contribute to product improvement, automation, and sustainability initiatives.
