Mechanical Engineer/Process Engineer

Looking for an engineer-minded individual to work with a creative high-tech team to streamline manufacturing processes. We are a leading Contract manufacturing company with some of the most modern equipment available.

Tasks include:

· Program and operate punches/lasers, 3D printers, CNC mills, PCMM inspection equipment

· Run production parts and implementing processes you develop

· Create documentation and procedures to aid shop production

· Design and make tools and fixtures

· Develop new manufacturing techniques

· Aid with new part introduction

How we will get you up to speed:

· Work with other members of the innovation team and accomplishing the above tasks

· Learn how the machines and departments work over several weeks/ months in various departments

· One on one training with other experienced members at Regal

· Official online and in-person training from various software as required

Desired skills:

· Proficient using a mouse and keyboard

· Comfortable with using Trigonometry

· Computer file organization and nomenclature skills

· Work with Microsoft office suite (mostly Excel)

· Willing to work in front of a computer some days, while other days on your feet for entire shifts

· Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

· Mechanically inclined (willing to get hands dirty/works well with hands and can problem solve)

Optional Preferences: (not required, but preferred)

· Programming experience (ex. Python, g-code, C, etc.)

· CAD experience, Solidworks preferred

· IT experience

· Read technical drawings/ blueprints

· Experience with calipers, micrometers, tape measures

· Familiar or experienced with 3D printing

Overtime available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
