Job Description

We are looking for Mechanical Field Service Engineers (FSEs) with strong experience in BCL centrifugal compressor installation and commissioning to support site activities, startups, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, alignment, commissioning, and startup of BCL centrifugal compressors.
• Supervise mechanical erection activities including piping, base frame, coupling alignment, and lubrication systems.
• Perform pre commissioning checks, dry runs, and performance testing.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during commissioning and operation.
• Coordinate with client, OEM teams, and site contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, checklists, and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and site regulations.
• Provide technical support during shutdowns, overhauls, and troubleshooting activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as Mechanical FSE or equivalent role.
• Hands on experience in installation and commissioning of BCL centrifugal compressors (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of compressor auxiliaries (lube oil systems, seal systems, coolers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals.
• Experience working at industrial / refinery / petrochemical / gas plant sites.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• OEM or EPC project experience is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel and work at site locations.
