Mechanical Helper / HVAC Apprentice – Commercial Construction

$18-24/hr depending on experience

Structured Trades is currently hiring mechanically inclined Helpers / HVAC Apprentices to support crews on large commercial mechanical construction projects in Austin, TX.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to learn the mechanical trade and gain experience working alongside skilled pipefitters and foremen.

Projects are located throughout Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitters and foremen with installation of HVAC piping systems
• Move and stage materials throughout the jobsite
• Support installation of mechanical piping and equipment
• Maintain jobsite organization and safety
• Assist with general construction and mechanical tasks

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with construction experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical work
• Reliable and safety-minded
• Willingness to learn mechanical systems
• Ability to work in a commercial construction environment
