Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical issues in our machines and equipment. Your expertise in maintenance and repair will be crucial in minimizing downtime, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our machines. The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

New opening - Millwright maintenance mechanic

• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Complying with health and safety regulations.

• Perform inspections, identify potential issues, and proactively address them to avoid unplanned downtime.

• Keep detailed maintenance records and documentation for all repair and maintenance tasks.

• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions, diagnose mechanical problems, and implement effective solutions.

• Utilize technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and your expertise to identify the root cause of issues.

• Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring proper installation and adherence to safety guidelines.

• Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule maintenance tasks and optimize

equipment availability.

• Recommend improvements and modifications to enhance the reliability and efficiency of equipment.

• Conduct safety checks on equipment, ensuring it meets all safety standards and requirements.

• Report any potential hazards or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams during equipment upgrades and modifications.

• Test and verify the proper functioning of newly installed systems.

Qualification & Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or similar role, ideally in an industrial setting.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

• Good troubleshooting skills.

• Trade or vocational school graduation preferred.

• Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability.

• Reasonable computer skills.

• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues and implement effective solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
