Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Oman
Salary: RO 800 – 1,000 per month

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Oil & Gas Gas Engine Power Plant operations in Oman.

Qualification & Experience

Education:

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 10–12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Gas Engine Power Plants
• Strong expertise in installation, operation & maintenance, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance
• Mandatory: Valid CATERPILLAR Gas Engine Certification
• Proven hands-on experience in maintenance and major overhaul of CAT 3516 Gas Engine Generators
• Only CAT-trained & certified candidates will be considered

Key Responsibilities

Perform periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, and overall O&M activities
Carry out hands-on maintenance and major overhauls of CAT 3516 gas engines
Manage routine power plant operations and shift activities
Monitor operating parameters and plant performance
Apply working knowledge of 11KV & 33KV switchgear
