Mechanical Manufacturing & Packaging Operator

Responsible for maintaining all assigned manufacturing and packaging equipment in proper working condition. Performs equipment changeovers to support production of different products and dosage strengths. Troubleshoots equipment, executes minor corrective actions, and performs preventive maintenance. Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories; cleans equipment and documents activities in compliance with GMP. Monitors operations to prevent quality or production issues, supports setup and troubleshooting processes, and assists Technical Operations with equipment validation and process improvements. Reports malfunctions or material issues to the Supervisor, follows all SOPs, GMPs, and safety requirements, and performs other duties as assigned.

• Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanic or Electronics

• At least two (2) years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in a similar position

• Basic knowledge of electricity/ electronics, mathematics, mechanical/electrical drawing interpretation, use of varied tools

• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment

• Knowledge of GMP and safety regulations.

• Good verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
