Mechanical Pipework Fitter / Welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Pipework Fitter / Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation and fabrication of mechanical pipework systems across commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

Installation of mechanical pipework systems, including heating, chilled water and condenser water

Working from drawings and isometrics to accurately install pipework

Fabrication and assembly of pipework, including prefabricated sections

Welding of pipework with MMA process

Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard of quality and safety

Working closely with supervisors and other colleagues on site

Adhering to RAMS and site Health & Safety requirements

Assisting with lifting & install of pipework.

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanical pipework fitter / welder

Strong knowledge of large-bore pipework systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and isometrics

Experience working on commercial or industrial projects

Competent in pipe fabrication and installation techniques

Welding experience for carbon steel

Good understanding of site health & safety practices

Good understanding of lifting operations and procedures.

Pay: £240.00-£275.00 per day
