Mechanical Project Engineer

Position: Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee and manage mechanical works for construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of mechanical systems in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and UAE regulations.

Salary: AED 12,000 – 14,000 per month (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise mechanical installation works for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Prepare project schedules, manpower allocation plans, and material procurement plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project standards.
• Oversee installation of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, ducting, piping, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Monitor project progress to ensure completion within budget and timeline.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals.
• Handle shop drawings, material approvals, and as-built documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical project execution within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and chilled water systems.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Familiar with UAE authority regulations and local standards.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong project coordination and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
