QA/QC Mechanical Inspector

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications:

· Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma in a relevant engineering field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas in Qatar.

Technical Knowledge & Experience:

· Codes & Standards: ASME Section I, VIII, XI; ANSI B31.1 / B31.4 / B31.8; NACE; API 610, 613, 616, 617, 620, 650, 682; AWS D1.1.

· Hands-on experience with process equipment internals, installations, static & rotating equipment erection, alignment, and testing activities.

· Certifications in NDT or Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT).

· Knowledge of SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Association) codes, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE standards.

· Experience in HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect mechanical installations and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

· Monitor erection, alignment, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment.

· Perform or review NDT and PWHT activities as per project requirements.

· Ensure HVAC systems and sheet metal works meet industry standards.
