PEB Mechanical Quality Manager/Engineer -
1. Quality Planning & Documentation
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (QAP) specific to PEB erection works.
- Prepare and manage ITP (Inspection & Test Plans), QCPs, checklists, and quality formats for structural erection.
- Review and verify contractor/supplier quality documentation such as MTCs, welding logs, bolt torque certificates, paint reports, etc.
2. Site Execution & Inspection
- Monitor and inspect erection/installation of columns, rafters, purlins, sheeting, mezzanine systems, and accessories.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, alignment tolerances, verticality/plumbness, and bolt tightening standards (torque/tensioning).
- Carry out fit-up, final inspection, and bolting checks before and after installation.
- Validate crane handling, lifting plans, and erection methodology followed at site.
3. Welding & NDT Quality Control
- Oversee welding quality for structural members as per WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
- Coordinate NDT activities (UT, MPI, DP) with third-party agencies and verify reports.
4. Surface Preparation & Painting
- Inspect surface preparation, primer quality, DFT checks, and touch-up painting as per specifications.
- Ensure proper handling of pre-painted/galvanized sheeting to avoid damages.
5. Materials Quality & Traceability
- Conduct verification of incoming PEB components, fasteners, and accessories.
- Maintain traceability of critical materials and ensure proper storage to prevent corrosion/damage.
6. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Client Inspectors, Consultants, Fabricators, and Subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
- Participate in daily/weekly quality meetings and present quality status/concerns.
7. Non-Conformance Management
- Identify, report, and close NCRs, Site Observation Report, and punch points.
- root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and quality dossiers.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports to management and client.

Pay: ₹25,827.16 - ₹46,879.57 per month

Experience:
- Mechanical engineering: 5 years (Required)
