To lead and manage all mechanical maintenance activities related to high-speed beverage canning lines,
ensuring maximum reliability, line efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards while driving
continuous improvement and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the mechanical maintenance team responsible for
beverage can lines.
- Mechanical Systems Management: Oversee maintenance of can fillers, seamers, conveyors, depalletizes,
packers, and palletizers.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans,
focusing on high-speed equipment reliability.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct RCA for mechanical failures, particularly on fillers and seamers, and
implement corrective actions.
- Energy & Cost Control: Optimize mechanical energy consumption and manage spare parts inventory for
canning line equipment.
- Projects & Upgrades: Plan and execute mechanical installation, modification, and expansion projects for can lines.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure mechanical systems meet food-grade GMP and HACCP standards and
comply with safety policies.
- Data Management & Reporting: Report KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and mechanical downtime, and
maintain technical documentation.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8+ years experience in FMCG (preferably beverage canning) with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Hands-on experience with high-speed beverage canning lines (fillers, seamers, conveyors, packaging
machines).
Knowledge of food industry standards (GMP, HACCP) and mechanical safety procedures.
Proficient in using CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
English proficiency required.

- Line Mechanical OEE.
- MTBF/MTTR for mechanical breakdowns.
- Seaming and filling equipment performance.
- Spare parts inventory turnover rate.
- Energy consumption per produced hectoliter.
- Successful execution of mechanical improvement projects
