Place Services, Inc. has immediate needs for several Mechanical Sheet Metal Foreman (HVAC) to be based near Greenville, SC.
These are local Upstate South Carolina Positions.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage and coordinate crews, monitor crew performance
- Relate specific instructions and direction to crew and assign specific tasks; supervise tasks and assist in layout, fabrication, and installation problems as needed
- Oversee crew to ensure material is installed per code and manufacturer requirements
- Understand project scope of work, plan submittals, and equipment requirements
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure crew follows company safety standards

What You Bring:
- 3+ years of commercial/industrial mechanical experience
- Sheet Metal Experience needed
- Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the mechanical sheet metal trade
- Thorough knowledge of the prevailing codes of the mechanical trades
- Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work
- Ability to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled subordinates
- Ability to analyze defects in mechanical equipment and to determine necessary repairs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and to lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts
- Ability to make estimates of labor and materials needed for mechanical jobs
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to transfer 130 lbs a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures
- Ability to work from heights from an elevated aerial device
