Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Supervise daily tasks, prioritize job cards, and delegate work to skilled technicians.
• Technical Leadership: Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical faults, troubleshoot issues, and guide technicians on repairs.
• Safety & Quality: Enforce safety procedures, maintain high housekeeping (5S), and ensure all work meets quality standards.
• Team Supervision: Instruct foremen/technicians, monitor performance, and coordinate team activities.
• Resource Management: Monitor tool/equipment usage and report concerns.

Essential Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
• Proven mechanical maintenance skills (diesel/petrol, general mechanics).
• Familiarity with workshop tools and equipment.

Common in:

• Automotive garages.
• Industrial facilities.
• Marine settings (vessels/workshops).
