Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage site execution of carbon steel pipeline installation, welding works, and mechanical activities for chilled water networks.
- Lead and monitor direct manpower, ensuring proper work allocation, productivity, and adherence to safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily work activities with site engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all mechanical installations comply with drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and verify welding activities, fit-ups, alignments, and materials used on site.
- Identify any technical issues at site and coordinate solutions with engineering or management teams.
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and manpower logs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and promote safe working practices at all times.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and pipe network pre-commissioning activities when required.
- Support quality documentation preparation, including checklists, inspection requests, and work records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in the UAE or GCC.
- Strong background in carbon steel pipeline installation, welding supervision, and chilled water network systems.
- Proven experience in site supervision and manpower management.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, isometrics, and piping layouts.
- Familiarity with welding processes (SMAW/GTAW) and applicable standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
