Mechanical Technical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in the technical office of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in design coordination, shop drawings, and mechanical systems related to building construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and other disciplines (Civil, Electrical)
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications and standards
• Support project execution through technical guidance and problem-solving
• Review BOQs, material specifications, and technical documentation
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and procurement support
• Monitor site progress and ensure proper implementation of approved drawings
• Handle RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–7 years of experience in construction/contracting companies
• Strong experience in Technical Office (construction projects)
• Proven experience in building construction projects (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting systems)
• Hands-on experience in REVIT & AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings and coordination drawings
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous site engineer experience with contracting companies
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is an advantage
• Familiarity with local standards and regulations
