Job Description

• Responsible for providing MEP engineering design review, coordination, and construction team technical support
• Undertake all needed actions to complete a full study of new projects MEP technical specs, drawings, quantity surveying, and all required details
• Complete all needed MEP cost estimation and pricing to support tendering team
• Provide needed support to site technical office team in quantity surveying, interim payments, material submittals, technical negotiations…et
• Complete all needed MEP technical shop drawings needed as per projects requirements
• Completing site inspection requests for all running activities as per site progres
• Ensuring work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements
• Completing all needed MEP technical calculation and selection of relevant materials and specs as per approved standards.
• Complete MEP As-Built drawings as per projects requirement
• Perform periodic site visits to ensure the quality of executed works
• Resolve MEP problems that may arise on site to prevent project delay
• Effectively control the utility consumption to achieve the required savings
• Study, Design, and issue swimming pools MEP drawings following approved architecture design drawings.

Job Requirements

• Have extensive experience (3 years minimum) in STP & WTP
• Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
• BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Very good computer skills, i.e.; specialized software, Autocad, water design software.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP is required
