Key Responsibilities:

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of mechanical equipment, including downhole tools, pumps, generators, motors, and turbines.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

Identifying and resolving mechanical issues through effective troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.

Routine Inspections:

Conducting regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Safety Compliance:

Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, often using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Equipment Overhaul:

Performing major overhauls of equipment, potentially with the assistance of external contractors or vendors.

Documentation:

Preparing technical reports and documentation related to maintenance and repair activities.

Collaboration:

Working effectively with other team members and departments to optimize processes and prevent equipment failures.
