Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in diesel generator engine repair and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and servicing generator engines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repair, servicing, and overhauling of diesel generator engines
• Diagnose mechanical faults in generator engines and related systems
• Perform engine dismantling, inspection, and reassembly
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing
• Perform load testing and trial runs after repair
• Maintain service records and job reports

Requirements & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Diesel Mechanic
• 1-2 years experience in generator engine repair
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and lubrication
• Experience working with Cummins, Perkins, Volvo, Caterpillar, MTU, or similar engines

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in engine overhauling
• Knowledge of control panels and basic electrical systems
• Field service / site work experience

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
