Job Summary
CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery used in our manufacturing operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our can production lines.
Job Responsibilities

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on a wide range of industrial machinery, including presses, conveyors, ovens, and other can-making equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.

Perform corrective maintenance, including repairing or replacing worn, damaged, or faulty components such as bearings, gears, belts, chains, pumps, and valves.

Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.

Assist in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of new or relocated machinery.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and equipment status.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

Collaborate with production personnel and other maintenance team members to optimize equipment performance and minimize disruptions.

Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for mechanical systems and maintenance processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Qualifications

Diploma or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a high-volume production setting.

Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.

Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
