Mechanic/Fabricator/Welder(Manufacturing & Assembly)

Sanitation Products, Inc. is searching for highly motivated candidates to join our company; with offices in Fargo, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, and St. Cloud, MN. We have been in business since 1978 and are a niche, fast-paced but friendly company that provides equipment, service, & parts for municipalities and businesses who work in road maintenance, trash removal, wastewater systems maintenance, snow removal, and more.

Responsibilities

· Perform routine maintenance on equipment

· Inspect equipment for faulty parts

· Analyze and diagnose mechanical/electrical/hydraulic issues

· Create a plan of action for all repairs

· Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment

· Ensure a safe, organized, and tidy workspace

· Follow all health and safety laws and guidelines, as well as common-sense safety practices

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED (Preferred)

· A minimum of 2 years experience (Highly desired)

· CDL is a plus

· Welding knowledge/ability

· Experience in mechanics, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems

· Fabrication and painting skills

· Familiarity with common mechanic’s tools and service

· Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving

· Time management

· Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (Required)

· Must have valid driver’s license

· Must have own tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
