Meck Pre-K Lead Teacher

Positions:

1 PreK Teacher for the Meck PreK program. The ideal person for this role is someone who has a love for working with children with higher needs and feels drawn to differentiate for the individual child. Ideally this individual would have a history of working with students with special needs and know how to serve this specific population.

Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Required-BK license or willingness to obtain Licensure-REQUIRED.

Pay based on Education and Experience.

The individual needs to have Early Childhood experience, minimum of an Associates degree, be currently enrolled in an Early Childhood program, or have their Early Childhood certification, with a preference for those with a special education certification.

5 DAY WEEK - M-F - 7:30-3:30

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students, including those with special education requirements.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
• Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing atmosphere for early childhood education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $48,637.00 per year
