Essential Job Functions:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, positioning, transfers, and mobility within the guidelines of state law and company policies and procedures .
• Assist all residents in participating in planned activity program seven days per week. • Prepare, assist with and document the administration of medication to residents under supervision of licensed nurse and in strict compliance with state regulations and physician’s orders.
• Prepare residents for meals and snacks and assist residents in dining room.
• Keep proper records of care given.
• Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, offices and corridors as outlined in housekeeping procedures. Ensure all areas are safe. • Attend all required in-service training.
• Comply with and understand all resident rights.
• Communicate all pertinent information to Director of Nursing.
• Communicate with oncoming shift to ensure follow through of duties.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately.

Requirements:

• Valid Caregivers Certificate
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MED TECH EXPERIENCE, minimum 2 years
• Current CPR and First Aid
• Fingerprint clearance card
• Current TB or CXR (Able to provide upon hiring)
• 3 references: 2 personal and one professional
