At Clarion Nursing and Rehab, we pride ourselves on the exceptional care we provide for both our residents AND our staff. We're currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Medication Technicians (Med Tech) to join our growing team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to residents as directed by physicians and nurses, ensuring accurate dosage and documentation.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist with daily activities of living (ADLs) such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting as needed.
• Document residents' health status, changes in condition, and any adverse reactions to medications in the facility’s electronic health records (EHR).
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly and address their needs or communicate with nursing staff as necessary.
• Support nursing staff with medical and personal care tasks, including specimen collection and transport to labs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to resident care.
