Med Tech

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Tech to join our team at West Pico Terrace Assisted Living. As a Med-Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with the administration of medications and providing essential support to our nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Resident Monitoring: Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medication administration and resident observations in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Compliance: Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration and resident care.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or questions.
• Assistance with Daily Living: Assist residents with daily activities as needed, including personal care, mobility, and meal support.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the nursing and caregiving team to provide holistic care and support to residents.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must hold a current and valid Med-Tech license in the state of [State].
• Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Compassion: A genuine desire to work with and care for the elderly population.
