We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide (Med Tech) to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments by measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Supporting care staff in fostering teamwork in showing initiative in overcoming obstacles
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Monitor resident responses and report any changes or concerns promptly to the Health Services Director
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines
• Assist with mobility support and activities of daily living to promote comfort and safety for residents or patients.
• Follow all safety protocols related to medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with care team and residents.
• Certification as Home Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required
• Ability to work flexible

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
