Job Summary
Everett Plaza, a Vineyard Park Senior Living Community is seeking dedicated and compassionate Med Techs to join our team.

We have two openings available:

  • Morning Shift – 4 hours per day
  • Evening Shift – 4 hours per day

These positions may be worked separately as part-time positions or combined into a full-time split-shift schedule for the right candidate.

Duties

  • Assist residents with medications according to physician orders, facility policies, and Washington State regulations
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
  • Document medication assistance and resident care accurately
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
  • Take and record vital signs
  • Assist with resident mobility, transfers, and personal care
  • Respond to resident needs promptly and professionally
  • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and independence
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with caregivers, nursing staff, residents, and families

Experience

  • Prior experience working in assisted living communities or nursing homes is highly preferred
  • Experience in hospital settings or acute care environments is advantageous
  • Demonstrated caregiving experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is desirable
  • Familiarity with medical documentation practices using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is essential
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, medication administration protocols, and HIPAA regulations is required
  • Hands-on experience with hospice care, memory care programs, or working with seniors is a plus
  • Strong communication skills paired with a compassionate approach to patient care are vital for success in this role

Qualification

Current Washington State Medication Aide certification required

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Current CNA Certification required
  • Ability to safely assist residents with medication administration and documentation
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Previous experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or Geriatric Care preferred

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
