In this vital role, you will assist in providing high-quality medical support within an assisted living facility. Your skills in medication administration, medical documentation, and patient monitoring will ensure residents and patients receive compassionate, safe, and effective care. Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining detailed medical records
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to assess patient health status
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including catheter care, tube feeding, and other personal care tasks in compliance with safety standards
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Bluestep
• Provide compassionate care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident or patient
• Cooking meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing

Requirements

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is prefered but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic nursing practices such as medication administration and vitals
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Bluestep for accurate documentation of patient records
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus
• Ability to perform vital sign measurements accurately and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of medical information
• Certification as a Med Tech or similar credential is required

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
