Med Tech

• This is for 2pm to 10 pm. We are seeking a Medical Technician for our fast-paced elder care facility. An ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable using a variety of medical equipment, and have the ability to work with a team to provide high-quality patient care. Our Medical Technicians will also be required to assist other staff in the daily care of patients and general housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities:

• Talk to patients to understand their problems.
• Document patient information.
• Follow all patient treatment and billing guidelines.
• Communicate with other healthcare providers.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Document findings and communicate information to health care providers.

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of patient care and physiology
- Experience with catheter care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's
- Compassionate care for seniors, hospice patients, and those with dementia

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
