Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech and Caregiver to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility support, and meal assistance for residents and patients.
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols, including injections, tube feedings, and other treatments.
• Monitor vital signs—such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature—and document findings meticulously in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
• Support residents with specialized needs including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and senior care programs.
• Maintain medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of patient records.
• Perform medical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, and assisting with medical equipment like EMR systems or other medical devices.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate medical records management.
• Engage with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities by providing respectful support tailored to their unique needs.
• Follow safety protocols related to infection control, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home & community care environments.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care standards.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform medication administration accurately and safely.
• Familiarity with hospice care, Alzheimer’s/dementia/memory care practices is a plus.
• Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate attitude towards residents’ well-being.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of sensitive medical information.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification as a Med Tech or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates. Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
